LIVING HISTORY AND HISTORICAL REENACTMENT
Historical reenactment is the rigorous and non-political dramatization of an event, characteristic or historical period as a result of a previous process of research, study and learning.
Living History has as its main objective to bring a fragment of our past back to the present. Reenacting involves making or working with replicas like those we can find in museums or books and learning empirically how the daily life of the time we intend to portray was carried out.
Thus, reenactment becomes a didactic, pedagogical and, at the same time, entertaining way of bringing society closer to a particular time of the past, making it real and tangible.
